WASHINGTON - First District Congressman Jim Bridenstine said Saturday he could get behind U.S. Rep. Ted Yoho of Florida as speaker of the House.
"Congressman Ted Yoho is a courageous leader," Bridenstine said in a press release."I applaud and respect him for standing up to offer an alternative to the status quo.
"I could certainly vote for Ted Yoho as speaker of the House."

Ted Yoho BUMP!
I am going to call Bonehead’s office and tell him to take a course in public speaking, learn how to answer a question during a news conference without hiccupping, and stop lying about those voluminous bills. If he doesn’t take my advice, I think he should resign! The chances of that are nil....
We need more Bridenstines. I am glad we have Okies with some good sense up there. Hope the “GOPe’s” don’t turn him or drive him home at night.
Proud to be an Okie.

Yoho, Yoho, a Speaker’s life for me...
Again, I’m still wondering why the h*ll Bridenstine voted to let CRomnibus hit the floor on the rules vote. There are very few I trust esp. on immigration.
I stand by Louie Gohmert or Marsha Blackburn.
Ditto.....
Wow, I hadn’t heard that anyone had stepped forward to challenge Jakelegged Johnnie. Or is Bridenstine backing Yoho even though Yoho has not agreed to the challenge?
This all happened in the last hour or two. Yoho stepped up as an alternative and then Bridenstine said he’d back him.
Thanks, Cotton. I saw the other story you had posted after I made that post. I hope this develops into something.
Don't know what kind of a Speaker she'd make, but I'm acutely aware of her singing aptitude.
Many members are saying they were told that the rules vote would allow the vote to be postponed. Whether or not they are telling the truth is unknown to me.
Ted is the real deal conservative. He’s a 2nd term congressman from my FL 3rd district. From what I’ve seen and heard from and about him he’d be great (actual conservative) Speaker but I sort of doubt he’ll get the necessary support from the rest of the losers, er, reps. I’d vote for him. Here’s his site: yoho.house.gov

Thats my Congressman! Dr. Yoho is a large animal vet. In other words, hes used to dealing with bovine stupidity, sheepish cluelessness, porcine greed, and bulls**t in general. He will put those skills to very good use in DC.

She broke up the Beatles. No chance.
16 R’s voted to BLOCK this preliminary vote. It’s obvious the list was full of reliable immigration fighters. Our TX reps got chewed out over this on the air by local radio guys. I know I’m not dreaming but many don’t seem to get it. In TX there were only two heroes : Cruz & Gohmert-Stockman did not vote the second time and will not be back.
Who?
I support that idea 100%. John Boehner has campaigned in every election since 2009 saying he would put every bill on line for 72 hours before bringing it to a vote so it could be read by everyone.
HE’S NEVER DONE IT ONCE!
He is the leader of the branch of government that controls spending. Under his leadership they now spend $1.44 for every dollar they take in. I’d say that violates his oath of office.
