He was a victim! The man who cold-bloodedly shot Officers Ramos and Liu gets a shocking amount of sympathy and understanding from the New York Times today. The three (!) writers assigned to the story, Kim Barker, Mosi Secret and Richard Fausset present us empathy as:
In reality, Mr. Brinsleys short life was a series of disappointments. He was the difficult teenager who was passed around from home to home, the adult who could make nothing work, not a T-shirt company, not even an attempt on his own life at a former girlfriends house.
Everyone seemed to betray him. The friends who pistol-whipped and robbed him in May. The girlfriend who dumped him around Thanksgiving.
In recent weeks, Mr. Brinsley was unraveling, increasingly desperate, the gap between the life he wanted at age 28 and the life he had looming ever larger. If he couldnt get it together, he told the mother of his second child in early December, he would kill himself.
Not only was Brinsley a man worthy of pity, you cant blame the left and the climate of anti-police hatred:

The saddest story of all ... us Libtard newsers are so deluded that we are not too embarrassed to puke out this garbage!
“he told the mother of his second child in early December”
Note the missing word: WIFE.
This piece highlights one important fact, these POSs breed.
The staff of the NYT thinks “Sympathy for the Devil” is a hymn.
I’m sure that is the model reporter for most of the major newspapers.
The new journalist of today.
Hurray for the N.Y.Times. Only the 1st day of a New Year and they confirm the brilliance of my TAGLINE.
Thanks, guys.
They must similarly condemn those who rise above their dire circumstances to become people of wholesome achievement. These vain attempts to justify the Marxist tutelage of Obama in his youth are vapid at best, traitorous at worse.
Is this a leap too far? Consider.
they beat Rolling Stone to the story!
“He couldn’t get it together...”
The NYT has headed to the trash bin a long time ago... Feeling exceptionally bad for a jihadist cop killer is rediculous.
Empathetic articles for the slain officers?
And is fit only to line the bottom of a Bird cage.

Any male can be a father. Not all fathers are "dads".
*All boys need a dad to teach their sons how to deal with adult male authority.
**All black boys need a dad to teach their sons how to deal with adult male authority AND, more to the point, how to deal with adult male WHITE authority.
***All girls need a dad to teach them how to relate to men, how husbands ought to relate to wives and children...that is, the "mechanics" of being a woman, wife, mother, in-law, etc., in this world. Ditto with boys.
Being "daddy-less" through NEGLECT is generally thought to be a sure-fire problem for children all through life.
"Motherless" doesn't seem to happen with the same frequency.
Years ago there used to be a humorous saying in the metalworking machine shop world in this area. It was a mock Work Order spelling out the manufacturing process for a widget of questionable quality:
1. Pound to size.
2. File to fit.
3. Paint to hide.
It seems like your (Excellent) tag line is somewhat similar. “Make it fit.”
Our good Lord will deal with him.
One MIGHT feel some sympathy for the innocents in his family. He brought shame and disgrace to his entire family and circle of friends.
But for HIM? Not a snowball's...
This article was so patronizing and disgusting. Brinsley was no victim. He was a scumbag who doesn’t deserve any words of praise. Liberalism. Schizophrenia. Manic Depression. PTSD. Anxiety Disorder. Every one of these are well known mental disorders.
Every murdering thug has a story.
Lol.
My husband was a mechanical engineer and he had a pair of dark green overalls with YELLOW lettering across the back that spelled out the following.
Right. The Bro was an aspiring sperm donor.
And what’s with the FSU football player with “Sr.” after his name on his jersey?
Is this an indication that he’s already begun his career as a sperm donor while still in school?
