Last year saw a rapid deterioration of relations between their countries, but on New Years Day, U.S. Vice President Joe Biden and Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro shook hands and expressed their desire for restored ties.
The brief, impromptu meeting in Brazil came two weeks after President Barack Obama signed legislation to impose sanctions on Venezuelan officials accused of violating human rights. Days before the sanctions were approved, Maduro had called on all Venezuelans to burn their U.S. visas in protest of imperialist Yankee policies.

Hmmm. Sounds like Obama and his Democrats are planning on bailing out another decaying socialist toilet of a nation at the American taxpayers expense.

Joe can teach Maduro how to protect himself with a shotgun, and in return, Maduro can teach SloJoe how to drive a city bus. Isn’t diplomacy wonderful?
Once again, Obama and his regime is going to rescue a socialist regime just as it is about to go under. Disgusting. Our President and his policies, if you want to call them that, are just flat out disgusting.
Here in S Florida its common to see SOS VENEZUELA on vehicles. Expect the same reaction from expats as that of the Cuban exiles here.
