“He (Walker) needs to give a good reason...” One reason is that even the more conservative workers can be swayed by the argument that it is unfair to benefit with good pay and working conditions that you have not helped pay for. I was in a union for ten years, and saw a number of benefits. There was a macho Human Resources Director that had a big pinup poster taped to the side of his desk as you walked in the door. It really made female employees uncomfortable going to him with problems. The union had it removed. Management was heard saying that they would no longer promote women to the next higher level. I was in the level being blocked. We filed and won a civil rights case. Unfortunately, the management stooge spying in our ranks got the next promotion. But after that a good woman was promoted. We had a lot of trouble defending idiots who had been approved by management after the 90 day probation period. We finally met with management and told them, if you keep promoting them, then we have to keep defending them. After that not everyone passed their 90 day probation, and labor/management relations were much more peaceful. A big factor is the honesty and sincerity of the union activists (the shop stewards and contract negotiators). Ours were good, and probably some safeguards could be provided by law or negotiated into contracts (agreements).

Well played!

But as for me, I can’t really get fired up about an open-borders nominee and an anti 2A running mate.

Another “Democratic” infiltrator trying to gum up the works here. Mike Pence is no RINO. Expect all the other conservative blogs and chatrooms to get filled up with the liberal posers trying to agitate us and push the Bush and Christie campaigns for president.

Very well thought out and I do agree with you that maybe Walker is quite the superstar Rush, Hannity, and some others in talk radio have been pumping up the last few year. I give him kudos for taking on the Democrats and beating them three times in four years. That makes him battle tested and also the fact that the comes from a liberal state helps too, but by backing off on right to work legislation, Walker looks like he’s caving in to establishment norms when it comes to politics. We need someone bold and willing to kick the political establishment in the butt!!! I think Scott Walker could be a great presidential candidate, just not in 2016. We need a fire in the belly person as our nominee and I think that one person is Ted Cruz.

Still, you know how the wind does shift.

A Perry supporter for years.

I’m getting where I don’t trust any of them.

That was a very poorly written post of mine. Those are PENCE’S positions and not Perry’s.
