I would think so; there is no defense for the act. In my area it seems there has been an increase in the number of people walking in front of trains, and I wouldn’t be surprised if economic issues are at the root of these cases. There has been no recovery in the northeast, and taxes just climb higher; middle-aged people and older are finding themselves involuntarily retired, with little hope of working again in a situation that would enable them to at least fulfill the financial obligations they incurred in the “before-times” (before the “new normal”).
Sad. I hate to see people lose hope. Still the MURDER/suicide is beyond the comprehension of me. Even more than just selfish. Selfish with a vengeance. Selfish with extreme prejudice.
