The World Health Organisation is investigating reports that ISIS militants have been showing up at an Iraqi hospital with Ebola.
According to three media outlets an undisclosed number of militants displaying signs of the disease attended a hospital in the ISIS-held city of Mosul, 250 miles north of Baghdad.
While the reports, from Kurdish and pro-Iraqi sources, remain unconfirmed, WHO spokesman Christy Feig said the group are trying to reach out to officials in ISIS-held areas to offer help.
UN workers are currently banned from entering ISIS-controlled areas in both Iraq and Syria so it is unlikely an operation in the region could be carried out.
Ms Feig told Mashable: 'We have no official notification from [the Iraqi government] that it is Ebola.'
The symptoms of ebola are similar to those of other diseases including malaria and yellow fever
Mosul has been under control of ISIS since June 2014 and over the past few weeks militants have reportedly executed more than a dozen doctors for refusing to treat injured fighters.
According to a report in Iraq's pro-government newspaper, al Sabaah, the disease was brought to Mosul by 'terrorists' arriving 'from several countries' and Africa.

The doctors are facing firing squads rather than treating them.
Now they’ll be using it as a biological weapon. Instead of blowing themselves up they’ll go into populated areas and infect people.
I guess the question here is how long will it take obama to send rescue planes to bring them to America for humanitarian aid.

That is probably what they just did. No one will stop them entering the US. They are dreamers.
In order to avoid infection you have to be the sort of person who scrupulously avoids things like blood, sweat, and other body fluids. I may be wrong but I see those camps awash in bad hygiene.
Even if it turned out to be a false rumor, it would be a clever rumor to spread. It would discourage recruiting and cooperation with ISIS.
Pretty sure they already thought of it.
I am sure they will find others willing to “love” them.
Sad to say, if the doctors did treat them, but they ended up dying, in spite of getting treatment, the ISIS dudes would be pissed off and execute the doctors anyway.
Maybe, but the possibility also exists that now that they have gathered the homicidal malcontents from all corners of the world into one surly unhygienic heap they can be finished off by a disease you have to be like Adrian Monk to avoid.
