You're right Zeneta - they could be of average intelligence or less - and have built on the collective wisdom of thousands of generations before them... interesting way to see it. Thanks for sharing.
Really? Like who, for example?
technological advancement ≠ average population intelligence
however, in this context people are typically thinking of alien technology and ability to use it. not the bare individual capability of the alien beings themselves
Would such a civilization be able to achieve highly technological interface with the Universe? Well, yes it could.
Now, what would beings who start with a spirit component be able to achieve technologically? Probably the same levels of tech as the previous civilization. IF you believe in God The Creator of this Universe, is there demarcation line where the technology becomes a hindrance to the advance of the spiritual side of the second type of beings?
Well, if The Creator has a plan away from which the technology may take the second type of beings, then 'things' would happen to thwart too much technological advance. But that would not be the problem with the former type of beings ,,, until their technologies couled interfere with the development of the second type of beings.
And that, in essence is what Quix brought to the discussions, albeit his notion is that all ETs are demonic in origins.
