I like this idea! As for pretending to be gay afterwards, don't even bother. If the bosses later accuse you of not being gay, just say, "how do you know my sexuality!?"
Yes, you don't need to do the stereotypical gay mannerisms. A really good friend of mine (passed a few years ago) had an older brother Larry. They didn't get along very well, but they were the only two children in the family. Larry married a fine woman and they raised two kids into the kids twenties. Larry became ill with Aids, and confessed to being gay all along. My friend had doubts about his brother's sexuality since they were teens, but the brother hid it well. Enough to fool a woman and their two kids to adulthood. Larry divorced his wife. Poor woman, her husband left her for a man. My friend hated his brother because of that. Larry died of Aids related problems a few years later. Some people hide their sexuality very well.
