A whopping 87 per cent of Obamacare customers to get taxpayer-funded subsidies in 2015...

About seven out of every eight Obamacare insurance customers who enrolled between November 15 and mid-December are poor enough to qualify for taxpayer-funded subsidies designed to lower their monthly premiums.

The Department of Health and Human Services reported that number Tuesday, saying it's up from 80 per cent a year ago.

Americans who participate in government-brokered medical insurance can get subsidies from the federal treasury if their households earn less than four times the government's official 'poverty' level.

That situation describes 64 per cent of all U.S. residents, according to the Kaiser Family Foundation. But far more are qualifying, suggesting that the Obamacare subscriber base is dramatically tilted toward low-income earners.

And as poor Americans depend inreasingly on handouts to manage their monthly health insurance bills, the U.S. Supreme Court could be months away from invalidating the entire subsidy system that supports the 34 states that chose not to run their own Obamacare marketplaces.

Well then, they will be able to pay their Obamacare fines with our taxpayer subsidies.

The Supreme Court case, King v. Burwell, hinges on whether the government can legally distribute subsidies in states that use the Healthcare.gov online exchange instead of running their own.

The law’s language is plain: Subsidies can only be paid through exchanges created by the states.

Democrats in Congress, defending President Barack Obama’s signature law, insist a drafting error is to blame. They say they intended for people in all 50 states to be eligible for subsidies.

But Jonathan Gruber, the one-time Obamacare ‘architect’ whose unguarded, videotaped comments about the law drove him to apologize before Congress this month, thought differently in 2012.

‘What’s important to remember politically about this,’ Gruber told a group of consultants at the management firm Noblis, ‘is if you’re a state and you don’t set up an exchange, that means your citizens don’t get their tax credits – but your citizens still pay the taxes that support this bill.’

‘So you’re essentially saying [to] your citizens you’re going to pay all the taxes to help all the other states in the country,’ he warned.

‘I hope that that’s a blatant enough political reality that states will get their act together and realize there are billions of dollars at stake here in setting up these exchanges.’

The simple and pathetic sum of Obamacare is:

- Expansion of Medicaid
- bribes to state politicians in the form of 100% payment of medicaid expansion in the short term to implement it
- Bailout guarantees to crony insurance companies to ensure their compliance
- Heavy taxes on private employers, middle-class, small businesses and private health plans

Socialism, pure and simple. Well. I guess not that simple if the populace sees it as a state given “right.” We are doomed. I also have a right to eat, have a home, own a car, have a Mercedes and a BMW on the side, as well as a plane with a private pilot on 24 hour duty, a home on the big island of Hawaii, a ticket to all NFI football games in every franchise in every city, and a key to the bank vault to every bank in the world. Wait the illegals have that already—silly me…

And those of us who buy our own health insurance will keep getting WHOPPING PREMIUM INCREASES to pay for those on Obamacare.

This is wealth distribution, pure and simple, from those who work hard to those who do not bother to work hard.

Have you ever seen oil plummet 45% with economy on the rebound?
I am Medicare age, and have never seen such a thing.

Hmmm, I must have an old copy of the constitution. Mine doesn’t give the federal government authority over healthcare.

This is what disgusts me most about Obamacare. It puts practically everyone on the dole, turning us into a nation of government dependents.

And this radical change in the relationship between people and government was passed on a party line vote using a shady procedural trick and backroom dealing at a time when the majority of the public opposed the law. Completely despicable.

From massive increases to the Medicaid rolls to this new revelation, this thing is collapsing under it’s own weight.

Single-payer on the horizon will be the government solution.

All the while with a gun to our heads.

Obamacare-

People who can’t afford health insurance subsidizing health insurance for people who can’t afford health insurance.

Makes perfect sense.

I predict Tyranny will win. Whenever the USSC rules on something which relates to the power or size of the ever-expanding federal leviathan, it seems like they always find a way to rationalize the Tyranny.

They throw us a bone every once in a while, but the inexorable trend is more, more, more federal power.

I wish it were otherwise, but I don't think that there's a snowball's chance in Hell that the USSC will overturn this abomination. There's just too much invested in it on behalf of half of the ONE two-faced ruling party.

We've all seen this dog and pony show before.

God, I hope I'm proven wrong...

Well, yeah. Anyone not getting a subsidy cannot afford that piece of crap insurance, with its high deductibles.

Not only on the dole, but you're breaking the law if you don't file a tax return.
This means if you make zero money and do not work you must still file a return.

Pay close attention to the laws that are not being enforced because there will come a day
when all of these little laws hidden in the cracks of our society will be enforced by
the Government to finally deem everybody a criminal. The final nail will be soft crimes
"misdemeanors" as a means of preventing somebody from voting, thus turning an entire
nation into serfs for a dictatorship. Everybody will be a criminal, and cannot be avoided.

Yes, it's planned. This is where we are heading.
