Police have found nine people dead at three separate locations in Edmonton and Fort Saskatchewan.
Seven dead people were found in a home in north Edmonton on Monday night — three women, two men and two children, a boy and a girl. Police made their first call to the home at 8:30 p.m. The seven bodies were discovered three and a half hours later when police responded to reports of a suicidal man at that location.
A woman’s body was found in a house in the city’s southwest and another body was found at a restaurant in Fort Saskatchewan. The man found dead inside the restaurant matched the description of the suicidal male.
Police have not released any names or the relationships of the victims.
