My old roommate's now wife insisted we watch the movie The Ref as it was her favorite "Christmas movie". All I remember was that it had Dennis Leary in it, it was an awful "chick flick", and this scene:

In our town we have a Lutheran church which still celebrates St. Lucia Day. Each year they chose a girl to wear the crown with the candles. One of these girls told me that she remembers that they put the crown on her head at the last minute because it was so heavy. Also, that it was very warm with four candles lit. she was happy when the event was over. However, it is still a beautiful service.
