Simple answer - because Ted Cruz’ message cuts right through the establishment filters and goes straight to the heart of the concerns of the middle class. His message of smaller government, less governmental intrusion and personal responsibility do not require the input of the pundit classes for interpretation or understanding.

A page right out of the Reagan playbook. The difference is, everyone "knew" Reagan and almost all had a positive image of him due to his movie career. So the enemedia could not as easily mischaracterize him. When they lie about Cruz, many more people will believe them, because they don't "know" him.

BECAUSE.............

"The KING has no Clothing and is in fact NAKED"...

Only State Givernments are REAL tangible givernments..
The federal givernmnet is ONLY a givernment on paper..

... The U.S. Constitution was "written down" to LIMIT the scope and breadth of the federal givernment..

"NOT TO ENSURE IT'S EXISTENCE"
--------------------------------------------------------

SOooo; when the U.S. Constitution is rendered HELPLESS(abrogated) then....
The federal givernment can GROW far beyond it's established BOUNDARYS..

............ Like the present situation..............

He must be speaking the truth.

Nothing terrifies or infuriates the corrupt, the mendacious, and the delusional like truth!

They’ll have something on him before he has something on all of them.

Because the politicians in Washington are stealing the nation blind to find their reelections, their lavish lifestyles, and their futures at the expense of future generations and the middle class. If the people ever realize fully what they have done it will make the French Revolution look like a temper tantrum. Truth tellers like Cruz threaten their facade.

I think a lot of them die in office as the only way they can avoid dying in prison.

Cruz doesn’t have “something” on all of them, but Obama does.

The Democrats are just Marxist totalitarian baby-murderers.

The Republicans are closet cases, grafters, traitors for Saudi money, big foundation money, Chamber of Crony Capitalism money, etc.

Let me suggest a slightly different interpretation of the phenomenon, which has Corporate management types agitating against the very continuity of the Federal Republic, whose founders made the prosperity of Americans possible.

It is that the Chamber of Commerce types, have themselves been played by Another Variation On A Demonic Theme.

While I may be accused of over-simplifying the historic issues; as a writer & lawyer, I am acutely aware of a recurring formula for human corruption.

They can’t buy him. They can’t intimidate him. They can’t shut him up. And worst of all, they see a groundswell of approval among the voters who are listening to what he is saying. He is saying it too loudly and too clearly and it sounds shrill to their ears. It’s enough to terrify any collective power who thought they had everything under control and needed to keep it that way for just a little longer...

For one thing he ratted-out the GOPe trick of voting FOR cloture on liberal legislation, then voting AGAINST it after it was too late to defeat.

If the Washington Establishment hates Ted Cruz, all they have to do to destroy him is ask their colleagues in the Establishment Media to publicize the fact that Ted’s wife is a Managing Director at one of Wall Street’s most infamous, hated companies, Goldman Sachs.

So why aren’t they doing that? Because Ted is a perfect political opponent — intelligent enough to climb up the political ladder, egotistical enough to make a spectacle of himself by shutting down the government, but not charismatic enough to win elections outside of Texas.

It’s hard to think of anyone Jeb Bush would rather run against in the 2016 Republican primaries than Ted Cruz, with his Tea Party affiliation and Wall Street multi-millionaire wife. And, as for Hillary, nothing would make her a more inevitable president than running against Ted Cruz in the general election.

Jeb Bush? Seriously? There are FR’s pulling for another Bush?

If true, I've lost all hope for the nation. Good grief! We don't do royal families.

I get the impression many on FR look at Ted Cruz as extreme. We've drifted so far left over the last two decades, it will take a staunch conservative to bring us back from the brink of national collapse/suicide.

Jeb Bush for president? For all that is holy, say it isn't so.
