I point to the plummeting crime rate in Detroit that is a result of GOP pro gun policies and a solid GOP appointed police chief.
I point to the fact that poor Detroiters are now choosing to send their kids to better schools and are able to do so because of GOP pro school choice and charter school policies.
I point to the fact that minority unemployment rates while still high are falling at a faster rate than white unemployment. Its not because the GOP is concentrating on blacks but because GOP pro business policies lead to job creation in urban areas where blacks are concentrated.
Those are good things, and basically reversals of bad “policy” for lack of a better word. Still good government is not the solution, but a symptom of the solution.
