I don’t know what the technical medical definition of the term “outbreak” is; however, your statement above is incorrect; as the 2 nurses in Dallas contracted Ebola here in the U.S. while treating an West African patient. There was also the nurse in Spain who contracted Ebola under similar conditions while treating a priest who had contracted the disease in West Africa.

That said, excluding health care workers, there have been no known cases of Ebola Zaire infection amongst the general public outside of the African continent; which, I believe is the point you were trying to make.

The nurses in the US contracted from someone who got it in AFRICA.....had he been honest or had there been a travel ban he would NOT have been in the US and the nurses would have never contracted ebola. Pay attention....the US does NOT have an ebola outbreak Africa does
