Too many reports of cops being targeted
Amen and Amen!
On the bright side, every day that cops are targets of the “progressive” narrative, and progressive voters/assassins, the less likely cops will be the storm-troopers for progressive government policies.
In fact, if it persists long enough, The DeBlasios, the Bloombergs, the Jarretts, the Obamas, the Clintons, et al, all might have to start providing their own 600 yard security perimeters using private mercenaries.
Always one on every thread.
Leave it to the “All cops are scum” crowd to find a “bright side” to cops getting killed in cold blood.

What is wrong with privatized police force based on the market/demand of the local property owners?
So, instead of cops on gubmint union/dole, the cops are directly paid through the local community’s property taxes. That way, the cops are directly responsible for the community they serve. And the “victim” communities get what they deserve/pay for, which is nothing.
Market demand and supply should take care of this so called police brutality garbage.
Yeah? Then how about I hope that “Bright Side” you speak of happens to YOUR family?
That’s how things have been in most communities for a long time. Maybe not paid thru property taxes directly, like schools, but certainly having less direct funding and equipping and manipulating coming from the feds.
You can “hope” for the death of my family members if you wish ... we have already determined you are an asshole, so feel free to be what you obviously are.

Precisely. Get the police funding ONLY from the community they serve. No more subsidized (fed/state) crap that cause the cops to be militarized and the undeserving “communities” be getting freebies.
The local LEO's might have been part of that force

Thank you, Knarf. I hate when threads go all sideways because of people picking at each other. I shouldn’t have been flippant about the ‘bright side”, but I am still close enough to active LEO’s to know, they aren’t getting more liberal as the days go on ...

Besides the remark about cops getting assassinated is a “bright side”, he also referred to cops as “Storm Troopers”.
Later he reversed himself and claimed to be on the side of LEO’s, but given the “All cops are scum” rhetoric here at FR, I took his words at face value.
