A Los Angeles Police Department patrol car was fired on in an unprovoked attack Sunday night that put police officers around the city on tactical alert.
The shooting took place late Sunday in a neighborhood in South Los Angeles as two officers were responding to an unrelated radio call.
A couple of officers were rolling down the street when they observed the muzzle of a rifle firing in their direction, LAPD Sgt. James Shray told MyFox LA. They responded to the muzzle flash.
LAPD spokeswoman Officer Nuria Venegas told The Associated Press Monday that one man was under arrest and a second suspect was being sought.

The president and his pals Eric and Al have created an open season on Law Enforcement Officers for black thugs.
The ultimate result of their racism will be a reduced ability of police to respond to calls for help in black neighborhoods or where they suspect black thugs may be setting up an ambush.
It may have been unprovoked but not unexpected. Listen to the race hustlers and police haters and you will find out exactly where this is coming from.

Sounds like what happened in Durham, NC, over the weekend. I’ve lived in this state a long time and find it hard to believe it would come here. There will be big problems, every body here owns at least one firearm and even the old timey Democrats are getting nervous now.
“Last night the initial assessment, based on the reaction of officers and the adrenaline factor, was they were getting ambushed, but, you know, things change and it takes a lot to investigate this,” Green (LAPD Deputy Chief) said.
This panic is not good.
