The Washington Supreme Court on Wednesday reversed gun convictions and exceptional sentences issued to two people who helped Maurice Clemmons after he gunned down four Lakewood police officers in a coffee shop in 2009.

You missed Maurice....wonder if the evil in eyes has subsided since I last saw you in the back of the ambalamps?
ROT IN HELL!
That should have read...You missed ME Maurice.....
On Tuesday, Huckabee defended his decision to commute Clemmons' sentence during a call to "The Joe Scarborough Show" on 77 WABC radio in New York. If his critics had been there in the governor's mansion, Huckabee said, "They would have seen a 16-year-old kid commit crimes of which normally, there would have been a few years. And if he'd been white and middle-class with a good lawyer he'd have gotten probation, a fine and some counseling. But because he was a young black kid, he got 108 years!"
"People don't go to prison for murder" with that sort of sentence, Huckabee said.
In his 2008 presidential campaign, Huckabee faced similar questions over the release from prison of convicted rapist Wayne DuMond, who was convicted of another rape and a murder.
Huckabee tried then to distance himself from any role in the DuMond parole, and on Sunday he similarly pointed at "a series of failures in the criminal justice system" regarding Clemmons.
If they must release them I suggest they release them in afghanistan. Let them give aid and comfort to those enemies.
Huckabee claimed probation was normal for juveniles committing armed robbery. I wonder if that’s true.
If he hasn’t been killed, Clemmons would now have an NPR radio show.
Stay frosty my friend.
What has a Washington State case have to do with the Huckster?
Clemmons was in jail in Arkansas, but Huck sent him here.
The Huckster is a vile slimey bucket of phlegm! But he does have his followers that hang on his every word.
The interesting thing is that a new anti gun initiative just passed here in WA would have made all 3 felons for illegally transferring the gun(s) from Clemons to he helpers.
A lot of good that did us because Romney came back better organized four years later. Had he won in 2008 and then lost to ObaMao, chances are that we would've been done with him.
Clemons was in an ARK jail with enough reason to keep him there for years. Too much jail crowding and Huckster turned those he felt "safe" loose.
Clemons then came to WA state where he had fambly. Did some crimes here that should have locked him up for ever. But again, he was given judicial latitude
Assassinated four cops who were having a pre-shift coffee meeting. Mad at the white cops (sound familiar?)
Maurice and the courts gave no similar quarter to those 4 officers or their families. But they had white privilege and deserved it (using to modern paradigm)
This just reeks of bad judgment. Couldn't the huckster have found some non-violent criminal to pardon? Any state in the union has more than enough prisoners to choose from.
How about you fill us in on your story?
“The Huckster is a vile slimey bucket of phlegm! But he does have his followers that hang on his every word.”
Those who make a living on the “I’m closer to G*d than thee” circuit are a magnet for such minor minds as the Huckster proved.
Interesting the things you learn on freerepublic.
I had never seen a picture of Clemons, and had assumed, falsely, that he was white.
Shows the prejudice that is developed, even in informed minds, by the dominant media propaganda.
what is this about?
