Obamacare is easily on track to beat the administration's enrollment targets, with more than 6 million people already signed up for coverage.
Health and Human Services Secretary Sylvia Mathews Burwell said Tuesday that 6.4 million people have either selected new plans or automatically renewed their coverage.
The 6.4 million people who selected plans through the federally run exchanges include about 1.9 million new customers. The rest are current customers who either automatically renewed their coverage or shopped for a new plan.
People who automatically renew their policies are at risk for some of the biggest out-of-pocket premium increases anywhere in the system.

My 22 y/o daughter lost her job Monday. She is already applying for another, but I told her to at least start the process of applying for unemployment just in case. She started to, but did not finish because the web site bumped her directly to a page to sign up for obamacare and there was no way to opt out or decline. She is still on my insurance so does not need it, but apparently will not be given a choice, at least on line. This is the state of Michigan.
Does she have an option to say she is already covered on the form? If not that is ridiculous.
Fake government created profiles using taxpayer funds to pay the premiums. My wife says I should’ve been a career criminal because I think just like one. I just tell her you meant politician, right?

They are counting the people that the government automatically re-enrolled.
We did not find any way to opt out. We will look at it again later, but we were pretty thorough.

I am regretting pulling the lever for this RINO this past November after reading your post.
I was way more picky about the legislature and judges.
I was watching Cavuto it was a few years ago and they had an older gentleman on who was saying he did not want to sing up for Medicare but was told he would lose his Social Security if he did not sign up for it.
Maybe this is what they are going to do now. one would have to sign up for Obamacare or not receive unemployment.
I figure that this is one way they are driving up the numbers.
Wow, that’s terrible. My husband lost his job, signed up for UI, and didn’t encounter this in Oklahoma.
Tell her to move here. Lower unemployment rate here... well, except for older, white males.
