Cuba said Monday that it has a right to grant asylum to U.S. fugitives, the clearest sign to date that the communist government has no intention of extraditing Americas most-wanted woman despite the warming of bilateral relations.
New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie has urged President Barack Obama to demand the return of fugitive Joanne Chesimard before restoring full relations under a historic détente announced by Obama and Cuban President Raúl Castro last week. [ ]
In a letter sent to the White House Friday and made public by his office Sunday, Christie said Cubas asylum for Chesimard, who has changed her name to Assata Shakur, was an affront to every resident of our state, our country, and in particular, the men and women of the New Jersey State Police, who have tirelessly tried to bring this killer back to justice.

The Republicans in Congress need to make clear - no Chesimar, no relaxation of the Cuban embargo. They, of course, won’t since this benefits the US Chamber of Commerce, which must buy Boehner’s liquor.
Of course if American citizens get travel rights directly to Cuba, we wouldn’t need her sent back here to administer justice.

Do I see a pattern of treason among the Obama regime re Cuba?
Do nothing much about their arms shipment to No. Korea.
To say nothing about Cuban govt drug smuggling Africa.
Not ask for Joanne Chesimard’s return to serve out her sentence for killing a NJ State Trooper or the other terrorists and criminals enjoying a sunny sanctuary there.
Rev. Jeremiah Wright, during his time as Obama’s “minister”, went to Cuba to learn how to bring their educational system to America.
The head of the Museum of Afro-American History, Smithsonian (not sure of her exact title but she is the big red kahuna for it which is now blocking the magnificent view of the Washington Monument at 15th and Constitution) is headed by Castro DGI agent/of influence Johnnetta Cole, former professor at Un. Mass, Amherst, head of the DGI’s revolutionary training recruitment group; the Venceremos Bridge, a member of the Cuban/Puerto Rican Marxist July 4th Coalition (1976); a member of the CPUSA-KGB’s US Chapter of the World Peace Council; and... drum roll... Hillary’s choice as a part of the Clinton transition team after the 1992 election and rumored Hillary/Bill nominee for Secy of Education (skunked when exposed by Human Events weekly, The Jewish Forward and one other conservative source - totally ignored or poo-poohed by the mainstream media including the leftist Atlanta Journal (Constitution).
Check out her partial record at www.keywiki.org and then see if you can find the New York Post editorial on Cole from several years ago. Lots of details on this hardcore red.
Oh, and let’s not forget that she was on the Board of Advisors for the openly and aptly named “Marxist Perspectives”.
Friend of the Clintons and agent for Castro. Now protected under the Obama regime, and paid by the taxpayers for this present job.
Also, let us not forget the number of “Che” posters found in professors’ offices around the country and in one DOJ/IRS or ACORN local office (a couple years ago).
Remember that the Castro boys were the main military and secret police props for Hugo Chavez and now his nutty successor Maduro in Venezuela.
And somewhere in my files is a picture of one of Michele Obama’s Chicago red friends who also has ties to Cuba. I’ll try to find it (like finding the Holy Grail or the Golden Fleece, if you’ve ever seen my desk).
I know that it is one of the editions of Trevor Loudon’s major study of the US Left, “The Enemies Within”, either 2011 or 2013.
Just what did the United States get in this deal???
In and out by speedboat and...payday!
One hopes that this issue is brought up in the Congressional hearings to come.
