BS, I-594 had nothing to do with this.
Washington gun shows forever have had background checks before purchases.
Just the local liberal news trying to make the sheeple wag their tails.
Exactly. I bought my first firearm at the Spokane show a couple of years ago. My friend, who knew how the system works, took me to get my license weeks before the show. No big deal, really.
It's just wahat the NRA said befoer the election ; At any gun show you have; gun owners, licensed gun sellers, veterans, off duty military, cops, off duty cops, special security , and local law enforcement - it is the last place on earth you will normally see a criminal trying to buy a gun.
You are correct! It drives me nuts when the liberal media and demâs claim background checks are not done at gun shows. I have been to many gun shows in Arizona and if you purchase any type of Firearm from a Licensed dealer you WILL fill out the proper paperwork and it WILL be called in for a background check. The issue is with private independent sellers selling a firearm to anyone at a gun show. They are not required to do a background check. Personally, I would never sell a firearm to someone I did not know, and may not even sell one to someone I did know. If and when I sell a firearm it will be to a licensed dealer. I would much rather he take on the responsibility of making sure the person is authorized to own or possess a firearm.
