You're doing your part, staying engaged. When it's easy to get frustrated or cynical, you refuse that choice. People like you care about making real, lasting change -- and it shows in what you do.

I'm asking you to keep doing what you do best with OFA.

This has never been about winning at politics. You and I are here to try to do what we can to help make people's lives better -- in big ways and small.

And we are.

Just this year, millions of Americans signed up for affordable health care coverage. We're making it possible for eligible undocumented immigrants to come out of the shadows, contribute more fully to our economy, and help keep their families together. And we've taken smart, proactive steps to protect our communities from climate change, and help stop the carbon emissions that are contributing to it.

In every one of those fights, we've been up against powerful opponents with plenty of money to spend to block our progress.

You've proven that a grassroots movement like OFA can take them on.

I have two years left as your president -- I'm ready to give it all I got.
