Protest leaders hurry to disavow NYPD slayings
Washington Post/MSN ^ | 12/21/2014 | Staff

( The Rev. Al Sharpton and family members of Eric Garner stressed their support of nonviolent protests following the deadly shootings of two New York City police officers. )

The ambush killing of two New York police officers Saturday has forced a burgeoning protest movement over police use of lethal force to address accusations that it bears some responsibility for violence carried out in the name of that cause.

Officers Wenjian Liu and Rafael Ramos were fatally shot Saturday as they sat in their patrol car in a Brooklyn neighborhood. The suspect, 28-year-old Ismaaiyl Brinsley, is thought to have posted threats against police on social media before shooting his ex-girlfriend in Baltimore and then traveling to New York to target the officers. He killed himself soon after attacking the officers.

The officers’ deaths were condemned by local, state and national officials; the families of the victims of police killings this year; and many of the civil rights leaders and groups that have been the most vocal in the ongoing national Black Lives Matter protests.

Rev. Al Sharpton was quick to condemn the killings, too, and has noted in previous interviews that he vets speakers at any march he holds to sift out any advocate for violence.

“From the beginning, we have stressed that this is a pursuit of justice to make the system work fairly for everyone,” Sharpton said Saturday, adding that he and the Garner family have received threats in the hours since the New York officers were killed. “This is not about trying to take things into our own hands. That does not solve the problem of police brutality.”

Just keep it up, race pimps, and the central socialist government will move in and declare martial law.

Black people see Sharpton seen as a leader are to be pitied. What's being played out on the streets today will mark the erosion of gains made by this minority as more and more Americans begin to fear them. Fear eventually causes the pangs of revenge to set in.

This plays into the hands of the evil cabal that rules this once great nation.

Sorry but you own what you made. You can’t whip people into a frenzy and not expect a few to go too far.

And that evil cabal needs to be called out - De Blasio and the rest of the city council are hard core Sandinista leftists / Sharpton is a polarizing racist who is getting his direction from the White House and Justus dept while the leader vacations in an exclusive area - displaying similar behavior as other leftist dictators

Wow.

A muzzie, black, white-hating, cop-killer who speaks A-rabic.
AND—just shot his girlfriend.

What’s That? A three-fer? Four-fer? FIVE-fer??

Happiness is seeing Al Sharpton dancing at the end of a rope . . .

With Jesse Jackson right beside him.

1987 - Sharpton fanned the flames in an attempt to frame cops and others in the Tawana Brawley rape hoax.
1995 - Sharpton fanned the flames that led to the massacre at Freddie’s Fashion Mart.
2014 - Sharpton fanned the flames that led to the massacre of two cops.

(I’m detecting a pattern here)

Sharpton is always the first to point the finger and the last to take responsibility.

The good reverend should put down ‘Rules for Radicals’ and pick up his ‘Bible’.

Pray America is waking

Stoke that black racist hate to the boiling point with lies, wind ‘em in a spirit of Klan mob murder and then deny you ever knew them.

This is the progressive way. It’s regressive.

How long before they blame Palin, the NRA or gunmakers? Nothing is too absurd for these people.

ask forgiveness after they cause the blood to flow?

are they saying “just kidding”?

This is a classic case of yelling fire in a crowded theater.

find every person that chanted that on video. Put them on social media...every boss they have (if they have a job) needs to see it.

The Rev. Al Sharpton was quick to condemn the killings, too, and has noted in previous interviews that he vets speakers at any march he holds to sift out any advocate for violence. Sharpton’s role as an adviser to the families of Garner and Brown, has meant that his history of activism — and the sometimes divisive baggage that accompanies his name — has been linked to the Black Lives Matter demonstrations.

Sharpdumb lies again.

Sharpie’s rather like an evil Kingfish from Amos N’ Andy days before the televised version of the old radio show was cancelled as being racist.

I’ve never seen a picture of Sharpie’s wife, but she’d have to be a carbon copy of the fictional ‘Sapphire’.
