They seem to be doing rather well taking over the entire country. They’re nullifying elections, doing runs around Congress, de-legitimizing local police authority, destroying the reputation of opponents and the next step is the National Security Force proposed by the highest Progressive official in the country.

IMHO

Thanks for posting. I can appreciate this article having lived in the Seattle area for a number of years. I agree that tons of Californians moving here have done much to damage the city and surrounding areas over the years. Eastern WA is still fairly conservative - it's the I-5 corridor (especially Olympia to Everett) where the main concentration of libs are.

Thankfully, I live in a suburb (one of the few "conservative" ones, or as conservative as it gets for this area). I rarely go into Seattle any more - been to a few Seahawks and Sounders games over the past few years but that's about it. I think I've been downtown and the Seattle Center twice in three years, and that was only to take my nephew to the Science Center and a couple of other places.

The Socialist City Councilwoman that was mentioned is a total nutcase IMHO. Or, perhaps she just sounds that way to me because she spews Socialist (or Communist) rants.

If I didn't have so much family here and a good job (thankfully), I'd definitely consider moving to Texas or perhaps Montana (have relatives there, too).

I've adopted Senators Cruz, Lee and Sessions as my Senators and Rep Gohmert - TX as my HOR Rep. For now I'm stuck with Patty Osama Mama Murray and Maria Can't-do-well .

Boeing has been gradually relocating to other states, starting with moving its corporate headquarters to Chicago.

Of course, Chicago has MORE of the same problems described in the article. So the only rational explanation is that Chicago outbid Seattle. Bad long term strategy for Boeing. They would have been better off in Dallas or Phoenix.

I hate to break it to this guy but left-wing California hippies and dickheads ruined Arizona more than 20 years ago. I left AZ for Texas in 1990.

“Washingtonians have developed an almost cult-like obsession with the Seahawks, one of the last remaining relics of the state’s greatness. It is strange to see how many people display Seahawks flags from their car windows and wear Seahawks clothing now - as if nothing matters anymore to them but the Seahawks; they’ve tuned out everything else happening around them.”

Aren’t the Seahawks a football team? Isn’t football a violent, brutal sport? How do these pinko leftists justify watching that sort of thing?

Liberalism is a parasitic leach that sucks the life out.

Then, liberals move on to a new fertile area and start converting it into another ‘paradise’.

The progress of liberalism can be traced by the empty, boarded up houses and closed strip shopping centers and decaying industrial areas.

Liberals don’t bother wallowing in their failures, as they move on.

With a little practice, most anyone can learn to recognize Republican cities (even if their government is not particularly Republican), and Democrat cities (almost always run by Democrats.)

Republican cities have good infrastructure, maintenance and planning, are clean, have efficient police and fire services, etc. Private property is often landscaped. However, homeless people are few and far between.

Democrat cities are pretty much the opposite. Rotten streets, lots of homeless and beggars, dirt and grime are everywhere. Trees and plants are either overgrown or absent, with greenery discouraged, often “to save water”, even when water is not in shortage. Lots of p.c. petty regulations.

Living in Californicator land can be distressing, however Washingtongone and Oregone are both controlled by left wing fascists’s whose religion is based on green bs.

The reality is these two lost states entered the non America left wing fascist statehood close to two decades ago.

I moved back to Phoenix this fall. I was thrilled to come back to wide, clean streets with little traffic, low gas prices and new, well-kept buildings.

Shhhhhh! We don't want the Californians to find out! :)

Two words...

Border control.

“I’m sorry sir. You’ll have to turn around and go back. We don’t allow folks from your state in our state. Officer Smith here will help you with your u-turn.”

It would be a blessing to everyone if LIBs remained where they live so that the rest of us can avoid them . Unfortunately, these malignant societal termites often migrate, bringing their distorted, degenerate leftist ideas with them. LIBs are mentally disturbed. They are best observed for a laugh from a distance. Have a Merry Christmas!

You think that the State of Washington will go the same way as California? The California debt is spiraling out of control. So, unless and until the citizens of the State of Washington have a suicide pact with California, the voters of that state had better start doing some very heavy thinking.

I agree that the liberals are ruining the state of Washington. But let’s not be too quick to blame this on Californians. In 1988 both WA and OR voted for Dukakis as CA voted GOP for the last time in a presidential election. This indicates to me that there were plenty of liberals in the Pacific Northwest (specifically WA and OR) for quite some time.

It is true that many Californians and businesses are fleeing this high tax and anti-business state, but they are fleeing from liberal policies for the most part.
