When he hooked up with McPain so much in 2008 and after, I lost track of Senator Coburn’s better qualities.
As a long time resident of Oklahoma, I agree that Dr. Coburn has represented the people of Oklahoma very well...in the past. Recently, however he was part of an effort to sell gun owners down the river with his willingness to engage the “ban all guns” crowd in DC. I had hoped he would be a staunch defender of our rights, but when push came to shove, he collapsed and took the easy way out. Very disappointing.
