That’s just amazing, a miracle rich teen and other fraud stories, and you wonder what other stories published by the press are either frauds/heresay, or flat-out lies from the press themselves.
I think it is almost all of them.
Every time I've had personal knowledge of the subject of an article by a "mainstream" journalist, I've found it has multiple errors, distortions, omissions, or just plain editorializing (opinions of the writer are "attributed" to someone else).
Actual news reporters are a dead breed. Instead, the business is mostly populated by people that want to be Woodward or Bernstein, and are willing to lie to do it. And, their bosses are encouraging it, in order to buy eyeballs. They don't care if it's accurate -- they just want you to read or watch or click, so they can sell your presence to advertisers.
The entire business is no different than the Weekly World News: fabricate outrage so you'll buy their rag.
