Bay Area protests over the deaths of Eric Garner, Michael Brown and scores of others may assuage white liberal guilt and provide a righteous reason to rail against the machine, but it would be nice to actually hear from some black folks.
So far, it seems all I’ve seen and heard in three weeks of protest are some pretty vocal white folks screaming to have their way, or dismissing the actions of the wolves inside the flock as the ugly backside of democracy.
Assault, vandalism and looting are not protected forms of free speech.

hes really surprisingly on the money regarding theology and “social matter” and isnt afraid to express his veiws on either.

I’m old. I am short. If I lose my glasses my vision is crap. I can’t win up against a young huge attacker on drugs or amped on adrenaline. Disparity of Force is on my side for saving my life.
Bob, only certain loss of black lives advances the leftist agenda,
and those are the only ones that are going to “matter”.
On the contrary, I’ve seen some ludicrous instructions posted for white sympathizers to obey. Paraphrasing:
-Let the black protesters have priority when speaking to media
-If you are questioned on your own, direct the questioner to the black leaders
etc. etc.
As for the black voices, how many times can we hear the same tin pan ring out as it’s beaten? They proceed from a false premise while attempting to actively stamp out facts, statistics, etc. Ordinarily I would call it a guilty conscience but conscience is a bit thin on the ground at these turnouts.

When were scores of blacks killed by police?

A few ministers do. MSM blocks every one of them.
Over the course of a year, about three dozen blacks are killed by police in the line of duty, if I recall my stats correctly.
That’s the sum total.
The vast majority deserved their shooting.
The author is using all the good shoots too because the number of bad shoots is probably fewer than a handful.

I think every black politician that pushes a white re-settlement policy (as Cory Booker tried in Newark NJ) is admitting it; white lives matter when blacks alone have to pay for their services.
Must be why I’ve never heard one.

Somewhere in the vicinity of 200+ blacks are killed each year by cops.
The question is how many of those are unjustified.

What I’d really wish for is the urban black community to get their sh1t together, stop murdering each other, stop the drugs, stop the gangbanging, stop listening to the violent music that only serves to get people pissed off, stop the whoring around, stop being a slave on the welfare plantation, get a damn job, then get a better one, and then a better one, make something of themselves, and clean up their damn communities. Join civilized society as a productive member.
There are far too few good productive socially well-adjusted blacks in this country. I’d like a hell of a lot more of them, they just for the large part don’t want to be. Don’t want to put the effort in.

Exactly. What it is for whites, whether it’s middle class middle schoolers, high schooler or college kids, it’s the latest fad, it’s the latest cool thing to do to piss off mommy and daddy.
If people aren’t at the right place it is impossible for them to get along with anyone. Most urban ferals have no desire to get along with crackas.
Sorry, rather than posting from memory I tried to find some data.
Incomplete data indicates cops kill about 400 Americans each year. Of those, about 1/4 are black, so about 25%.
That’s high compared to their percentage of the population, low compared to their percentage of all criminal activity.
Personally, I think 400 is a lot of Americans for the cops to be killing in a year. White or black. The actual number is higher, we just don’t know how much higher.
While I’m all about personal responsibility, urban blacks responded logically to the programs of the fedgov that incentivized them to be where they are today.
