Am I the only one that thinks something about the investigation of this case STINKS! i already read one article that said her ex-boyfriend did this, only they do not think he did it alone... so they were investigating that... and none of the other articles i read mentioned a battered women's shelter...

No, Larry, you are not.
Small southern town. I think everybody knows who did it, including the cops. It really stinks.
Not blaming the victim, nobody deserves what happened to her, but she really should have made some better choices in terms of who she hung out with.
