As more and more people walk away from the many forms of collectivism in the world the Left just gets nuttier and nuttier.

It is not about “saving the whales” anymore.

I like whales.

I despise Greenpeace.

Put them in the middle of the high Peruvian plain, in the southern summer, with nothing but a can of oil.

From the story at BBC News: http://www.bbc.com/news/science-environment-30422994

“They say the green group entered a strictly prohibited area and left footprints. The government is asking for the identities of those involved and threatening prosecution and six years in prison for the offenders.”

Hoping they do get jail time for this vicious act.

The cultural carnage began on December 8th, when 20 “activists” from the increasingly radical international “environmentalist” organization put a stake through the heart of one of humanity’s greatest works of art, Peru’s Nazca Lines, by trampling through the desert around them in order to place a banner which they hoped would generate publicity for their organization and their “cause.”

Timed to coincide with the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) COP 20 meeting being held in Lima December 1-12, the Greenpeace cultural terrorists from Germany, Argentina, Chile, Brazil, Spain, and Austria trespassed onto the sacred archaeological site and left a path that introduced a new line to the iconic hummingbird figure. Sadly, the hummingbird was the only figure that was in pristine condition. That is, until Greenpeace defiled it for all time.

I guess Greenpeace is afraid of UFOs. I guess they don’t want the aliens returning to ruin the planet...
