Now that you say that, it's funny. As I sit here thinking about it. I don't think that I really ever saw any of the characters as being sympathetic. I wonder why I watched it? Interesting.

To be sure! It’s a ‘safe, inconsequential’ way to voyeur into the minds eye of inhumane brutality. And to that, you hit the nail on the head. I realized that’s what had mesmerized me with this genre of entertainment. Being the overthinker I am, I asked myself why in the hell am I so entertained by Hollywood’s glamorous spin on behavior I wouldn’t condone in reality. Thus it lost it’s magic on me. I refuse to contribute to Hollywood’s glorification & acceptance of the human race’s moral demise.
