Tea party activists are attacking a campaign finance rider in the $1.1 trillion spending bill that they view as a sneaky power grab by establishment Republicans designed to undermine outside conservative groups.
The provision would increase the amount of money a single donor could give to national party committees each year from $97,200 to as much as $777,600 by allowing them to set up different funds for certain expenses. The change would be a huge boost for party committees that have faced steep challenges in recent years from well-funded outside groups.
Disgruntled activists fear the committees will unleash the added cash against conservative candidates in primaries, making it even harder for them to unseat establishment-friendly incumbents. Most tea party groups have political action committees for which individual donations are capped at $10,000 per election cycle. Some also have super PACs, which do not have any contribution limits.

“activist” = an American who support the US Constitution
and not the criminal MSM and the EXEMPT royal class.
They want to clear the decks for Jeb. That’s what its really all about.
Presto! No more need to pander to conservatives to secure the GOP nomination.
So along comes the Chamber of Cronies, donates 700,000 dollars to both McConnell and Boehner Campaign fund.
They both retire right after they push thru funding for Obama’s amnesty.
Any guess as to who ends up with that money?
Hint:You don’t need to ask!
Much of the money comes from state and local government employee unions and other associations.
Geez - I dislike the GOPe as much as the next guy, but this is really sleezy politics on their part - worse than I imagined.
They were just discussing this on the radio - no one in the GOP will admit to adding this provision to the funding bill.
Go look at what the GOPe did in Mississippi to maintain power. No surprises that bunch would do anything at this point.
Good point
One small glitch in their plan to clear the decks for Jeb or Christi’s run for president. If conservatives don’t vote, as four million didn’t vote for Romney, they won’t win. There aren’t enough White millionaires to win elections.
The power brokers who would maneuver the nomination to Jeb, Christie or Romney don’t care if they win. All they care about is keeping power in DC.
How do we start a write in campaign for Walker & Cruz?

What’s the point in voting?
The only hope is a third party. I believe a real conservative party could wipe out the republicans in one election. It would shine the light on the cockroaches. Otherwise we get more of the same. And trying to take them out in the primaries was an absolute failure. The establishment “punched the conservatives in the nose” as McConnell said. It’ll be even easier for them now.
There will be a Third Party candidate and the RINOs will rue the day they stabbed the base in the back.
