It is, as the name implies, adjacent to and immediately east of the city of Cleveland.

Forever! It must be 100% minority. No one in their right mind even drives through there with their doors locked! And they’ve spread into Cleveland Heights, and even some of Shaker Heights. Not a safe place to traverse.

When I lived in East Cleveland it was 90% black. Didn’t have a car. Walked everywhere.

And you’ve lived to tell your story? Amazing! I played at The Bridge Tavern a couple of times. They had cops there when we loaded in and out. Desperate place!

Government is supposed to provide basic services - that's it. When local gov't spends millions on walking trails, "safe neighborhoods," new parks and basketball hoops, and engage in cronyism with businesses, then they deserve to go belly-up.

Question One: Is it “run” by DIMocRATs?????

Yeah, the worst travel experience I’ve ever had was having a supplier drop me and one of my engineers off at a light rail stop in Cleveland Heights because it was Easter and he didn’t want to take the time to drive us back to Hopkins. Let’s just say we had no “friends” on the platform and we were loaded down with baggage.

East Cleveland should be absorbed by Cleveland ad Cleveland Heights. The only real problem with that is NO ONE WANTS IT!
Either would be OK with the North half bordering the lake, but no one wants the rest of it!

Ya know,,,, it’s been spreading! There are actually areas in Shaker Heights that you don’t want to be in at night! Shaker Heights! I went to school there. Even my school moved out to Gates Mills!
