I’ll try to remember to copy you on everything I post so you don’t have to send out an APB.

If you have a list of the people you would like to read my posts, send it to me as that would help.

I wouldn’t want you to miss an opportunity.

If it’s any consolation, I made 9 attempts and never got through.

I’m shocked.

I thought the Republicans would have at least waited until Jan to break their campaign promises and s**t on us.

This is a new record. :)

You have a serious comprehension problem.

Party on with...whatever you call it.

Doesn’t matter, we at the Manger Dawg pound can feel out a surrender monkey that says America is on it’s last breath and is going to fold.

Stand up and fight boy....never say die and you will feel better about yourself.

Be a 3% like the Founding Fathers that stood up to the Red Coats while the 97% said, “they are breathing their last breath”.

Like Boehner said, grow a pair

Well not only is your comprehension of my posts invalid, your first cranial nerve is kaput.

Regardless, I’ll not respond to you - or any others in your posse - further.

You’re right. I didn’t realize he was in the House, and the article mentions House work to be sure.

I’m lazy. Teachers and counselors used to tell my mom & dad that right through high school.

I’ll try to pay better attention.

(Sounds familiar.)

Thanks. FRegards & Merry Christmas.

Not gonna post to the DAWGS any further noobie??!! Oh noes!!! Okay fine but........The DAWG POUND is gonna be in full sniff mode following along and rebutting your defeatist posting drivel. America is NOT “toast” as you say!!!! There is a lot of ‘push back’ left in countless millions upon millions of Americans. If you don’t like it here and don’t think America is worth anything than by all means leave. Leave before your surrender monkey attitudes can possibly infect anyone else. Anyway, you said you would no longer respond to posts to you from the DAWGS. No problem and no need to.....we know just who and what you are.

“I have given up attempting to influence them. I will work hard to throw the LIB/RINO bums out. They know why people voted the way they did. I find their duplicity so then and so tiresome. Can you spell LIARS?”

Love it! Especially the going Constitutional part.

But.... going Galt suggests staying in this country, waiting to transform itbwhen the time is right.

And where can we go that won’t be ruined as well? Or more importantly, what place would allow us to set up our own sovereign nation?

Be careful and don’t saddle up too close to me.

There’s a few folks that apparently think I’m a surrender monkey, etc. and have said they’ll follow me around and point this out.

Lost on the cut and paste:

The pack up the Constitution part is really just symbolic; it’ll never happen.

But if someone like Cruz called me and said that was his plan, I’d go in a heartbeat.

Going Galt here is something I absolutely would like to do, but the financial reality is I can’t.

What I can and will do is go off the grid when I retire. The plan is to be completely self sufficient.

No worries. I don’t saddle up next to anyone nor listen to anyone berating others.

I’ll follow my own path and my companions are those that independently and intelligently chose the same direction.

Maybe eventually, maybe sooner than you think. We were on a 7 year plan to having enough $ to do the same. But have decided to take a chance and live how we will be happiest. NOW. We bought a rural property in a conservative area and will be transitioning there over the next few months (ie., after the house in Mexifornia is sold).

We'll keep our adjusted gross income around $20K, so we can pay close to no taxes to this fascist regime. A self-sufficient lifestyle is the plan - and that will require a lot of work while costing less than we live on now. On the other hand, since we don't want to outlive our savings, we will start a couple of part-time businesses - and the income from that can be put into a 401k off the top. So that will still keep our taxable low while replenishing what we spend from savings. But will still give us plenty of time to work the land, cut wood, etc. And the most important thing - enjoy God's beauty. And a couple of rentals will help with possible inflation/hyperinflation down the road.

Once you don't have kidlets at home, your options are wide open if you're willing to take a little risk. For us, staying in an invaded communist state is the bigger risk.

It's bad enough that I sometimes accidentally step in the manure you're spreading on the forum. I don't need an invitation to step in every patty you drop here.

You've made it clear to one and all that you've thrown in the towel on America, so what possible purpose are you serving here? I can only think of one, and it's as despicable as it gets.

Amen to that, brother Dawg. I think Obstinate will soon have that 'hunted' look about him, if he doesn't stop flinging his surrender monkey poop around here.

I said “financial reality” but the truth is the issue is much bigger than that. But that gets in to personal information I’m not willing to share this being the internet and all.

Sounds like you have a great plan.

Personally though the small businesses and rental properties would be too much “on the grid” for me. I want to get as far out from under this as possible. I’d be willing to take a lump sum for my pension, withdraw all funds from all banks, etc. That all is still needs research, although the lump sum for the pension isn’t an option.

I’ve figured it’ll take 2 yrs of living expenses before I’ll be 100% self sustaining. Food has to be grown and put up, critters raised then butchered, a battering network established/joined, etc.

I think a financial collapse for this nation is the most likely scenario. The normal folks will suffer. Guess the rich will also depending on how big it gets.

I mentioned elsewhere my most likely guess is: the Dems keep winning, a big financial collapse happens, the poor get hungrier and hyungrier over a year or two, the rich aren’t really impacted that much (Remember Dagny’s walks through the poorer parts of town), then .gov swoops down offering 3 hots and a cot - folks are starving so they sign up.

I’ve often wondered which big businesses would go Galt is the situation was right. And if any have already, and there’s not some valley somewhere they’re hiding in.

I really don’t think I’ll see this in my lifetime. My kids might, but I’m convinced my grandkids will.
