On Wednesday evening, in the very hall where the University of California at Berkeley had just celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Free Speech Movement, demonstrators shut down a speech by billionaire tech guru--and noted libertarian--Peter Thiel.
The activists who broke into Wheeler Hall were protesting the non-indictment of police officers in the deaths of black suspects Michael Brown and Eric Garner in Ferguson, MO and Staten Island, NY for the fifth straight evening.

It’s very likely that the irony utterly escapes the “protesters”.
There is nothing so ugly as a closed mind.
These “protesters” are the quintessence of bigotry.

if they’re not studying, they need to be removed from the campus (and, hopefully, community?).
if they block other people’s legal rights to travel, assemble, speak.... they must be arrested and incarcerated, punished......
where are the police? where are the “campus police”? where are the administators? where is Governor Jerry Brown?
these thugs are part of the reason why so many Californians are afraid to visit the UC campuses anymore
(more or less try to study or work there)
but the politicans, including good governor Brown, do nothing to clean this up
