Congressional liberals rebelled Wednesday against a must-pass spending bill that would keep the government open past midnight Thursday, complaining that it would roll back critical limits on Wall Street and sharply increase the influence of wealthy campaign donors.
Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), a popular figure on the left, led the insurrection with a speech on the Senate floor, calling the $1.01 trillion spending bill the worst of government for the rich and powerful.

Elizabeth Warren is nothing less than a full-bore commie. She hates America and despises the free enterprise system, the one system that has brought unimagined prosperity to the Republic.
Oops wrong link. This one:
” She hates America and despises the free enterprise system,”
Which made her rich, by the way.
The nature of the faux native American senator aside, anyone who opposes this great big stinky pile of a bill needs to be encouraged.
< smirk = annoying>
It is very plain to me...
The democrats are shutting down the government.
< /smirk>
If Warren succeeds in delaying this terrible bill until January, I will cheer for her (in both the Cherokee and Delaware Indian languages).
She’s gone off the Reservation...so to speak.
Fauxhahontas has more spine than so-called Republicans.
I don’t subscribe to her politics but I admire her chutzpah.
Any peep from Hillary on this?
No champion of the poor and scourge of Wall Street, as Elizabeth Warren and her fellow liberals proclaim themselves to be, can vote for this budget bill with its stocking overflowing with gifts to Wall Street and corporate interests and still claim to be a liberal.
Just as no champion of free markets and scourge of government overspending, as conservatives proclaim themselves to be, can vote for this budget bill and still claim to be a conservative.
Which leaves only unprincipled supporters of Wall Street and corporate interests who will vote for the budget. If that turns out to be a majority, there will be no doubt about the vast extent of the corruption that has poisoned our Congress and the country.
You go squaw!
