I don’t know how the word “Catholic” became associated with this University, but they certainly aren’t Catholic now.
“Catholic” universities have not been Catholic in a long time. There are a few exceptions and in some cases Bishops have taken steps to strip them of the title. If only Benedict had, had more time.
