when do newborns get their first vaccine against whooping cough?

Newborns can’t get the vaccine. Babies get their first one @2 months, followed by another one @4 and @6 months (3 doses to build it up). Things must have changed since I was last pregnant (14 years ago). The OB didn’t recommend ANY vaccines while I was pregnant. If I was planning for a baby, I’d get the vaccine booster PRIOR to any pregnancy. Personally, I wouldn’t get one while pregnant. The cause of this may be non-pc... but the FLOOD of illegals have brought all sorts of diseases back to our common day.
