the big dude ignored all police shouts to drop the weapon and get down and kept walking toward cops with weapons pointed at him

he was not “giving himself up”, he was acting insane or like he was on something, totally unpredictable and dangerous, murder weapon in his hand

He looked like he was wobbling drunk. He also looked like he was stutter stepping
inching forward about to make a move on the officers. Then step, and Blam he's dead.

Good shoot. The officers gave him plenty of time to comply, especially after he
had just knifed a man to death and was probably still pumped on adrenaline
ready to kill a couple cops to top his nite.

Nobody seems to know why he killed the man in the store and what set him off.
