Well, YES and NO.

They WOULD lose if they nominated a loser like Jeb. No doubt.

BUT: They will not do that. We will not do that. Jeb is not viable.

If it’s hillary vs jeb (or Christie or Ryan etc ad nauseum) the puppet masters have already won.

Several Republican candidates might be able to win in some circumstances, but the only candidate certain to win is Ted Cruz.

The problem, however, is the GOPe would rather Hilary win than an authentic conservative like Ted Cruz. So, they are going to do everything they can to sandbag his candidacy.

What? Romney? Those are the choices. Only if a new partỳ forms massively right now and can nominate its own will we have a choice outside those two. Between them they control probably 90% of the available primary campaign money.
