It seems the Dems do a better job pushing their agenda while in the minority than the Reps do when they hold the majority.

Item one: In the big picture, it's the number of "Rs" that determines control of each Congressional body. The second and equally important issue is the number of conservative BUTTS in those "R" seats.

We don't have open primaries. We have closed primaries and caucuses, but we do have a TEApublican governor and CD2 Congressman elect, Bruce Poliquin. Our State Senate just went "R".
If you look at the election map, you'll see a big block of red up on the Northeast corner of the US.....that's us.
