How is Israel a “contingency”?
For us they aren’t, for the father of lies they are.
If Egypt were wise (they aren’t for we know what scripture says about them already and it hasn’t even happened yet), they’d bow down and beg for forgiveness from God, repent, and do everything they could to AID Israel against what is coming.
Still, God does still call them “His people” during the Millennial Kingdom of Christ per Isaiah 19:25.
