A North Korean diplomat has denied Pyongyang was behind the attack that was launched last month but a U.S. national security source said it was a suspect.

Defectors from the North have said Bureau 121, staffed by some of the most talented computer experts in the insular state, is part of the General Bureau of Reconnaissance, an elite spy agency run by the military. They have said it is involved in state-sponsored hacking, used by the Pyongyang government to spy on or sabotage its enemies....

I would think it wouldn't be that difficult to make the Dear Leader think that some - or all - of these hackers were engaged in a conspiracy to hack him.

Just a thought.

They have been thoroughly vetted. Any doubts of their loyalty will cost the entire family their lives.

I would not doubt that once in a while one would be picked at random to be executed at whim just to maintain an environment of fear.

If you think about how most American “geeks” live, being treated like a king for your cyber skills would be a big motivator. Including (I assume), unlimited access to hot girls.

Dear Leader has had members of his family executed before, more than once.

And they don’t just take their families. They take three generations of their families.

And blocking the camera on your laptop with a piece of black tape can very easily be a capital crime.

If someone wants to see what I look like naked, have at it. Will probably be more painful for them than for me.

Of course, I’m not a hot girl. :^)

I would like to know how to hack into computers but I do not want to live in North Korea. Their school is too hard. You fail at hacking you go to a gulag.

If all that happens is you go to a gulag after you make a member of the Kim dynasty mad, you're lucky. Saddam, the Assads, and the Ayatollahs have never had anywhere close to the level of control over their countries that the Kims have over their nation of victims.

The North Korean rulers are true evil.
