You know....I see this all the time on FB and here at FR....but to me...it's intellectually dishonest. Do we forget that under Bush it was $4?...and that for most of his second term it was above $2? The only reason it fell to $1.87 was because of an economic collapse.

The big story in all of this should be: Will there be a repeat following THIS fall in gas prices....?

Looking at historic prices, put in today's $'s...gas was $3.67 in March of '81...and the LOWEST it's been (in today's $'s) was under CLINTON.

Are we sure we want to draw a conclusion on that data?
