The 4-week MOOC will feature a new season each week through short lectures and activities covering Great Lakes weather, observed changes in the climate, and societal impacts of climate change. The course will share important data in addition to focusing on people and communities adjusting to climate changes. And to slow the rate of future climate change, we'll share actions you can take that benefit you and everyone who loves the weather and climate of the Great Lakes Region. MOOCs are free, non-credit, online learning opportunities, which are available to anyone interested in learning with us. They are one of the many ways UW-Madison extends our lifelong learning and outreach mission to new audiences. just recently visited Chicago for the first time, much too windy for me. Maybe it is all the hot air coming from colleges in the region?
And because, Climate has never changed before now. No liberal has ever been able to answer the question..... “When did the climate start to change?”
“duration of lake ice coverage is decreasing”
Wrong or out right lie.
The ice lasted into June and showed up a month early this year.
Going to be another big Ice year... Link to GL water surface temps http://coastwatch.glerl.noaa.gov/statistic/avg-sst.php?lk=s&yr=0
I can’t believe it - cold in Madison in December. What’s going on in this world!
Yup, that is to what I am referring. Wife & I saw the ice.
UW-Madison should charge every student an extra thousand bucks a semester for climate change and global warming.
I don’t understand how they can be so obtuse in their thinking.
Money in the hands of Academia solves everything.
