Hewitt promo today said Ted Cruz would be on Hugh's show today.
Show just started and Mark Steyn is the first guest.
Hugh is the über GOP establishment radio host. He's the über Romney supporter.
His show is syndicated on Salem.

Hewitt promo’d Ted Cruz’ appearance earlier today.
But I’m getting the feeling it may notmhappen as Hewitt said nothing at the startnofmhis show.
We will see.
Stein just unloaded on the killing of the guy in New York that broke up a fight, he made some very sharp observances about conservatives who are defending it.

Just yesterday I posted on Ben Stein, and had that spelling on my mind.
I enjoy Mark Steyn.
I didn’t, though, really hear the exchange today. Can’t comment.
I would not have turned on Hewitt today if he hadn’t teased Cruz.
So far, though, no mention of Cruz.
I’m thinking it’s not going to happen.
How about Stine?
Stine is fine.
Has not mentioned Cruz, may not happen. Hugh is annoying in his constant denigration of his producer, Duane Patterson. Hugh does not seem to realize his childish sense of humor annoys people, and he will not stop, He once made a joke while talking to a severely wounded marine and the marine did not cooperate in laughing.
Hewitt says Cruz will be an in studio guest this hour.
I agree. Incredibly annoying and childish.
He did say that Cruz will be in this hour (4-5 PST).
He’s filling now with his annoying denigrating schtick.
Another reason that I don’t listen to Hewitt, he really doesn’t seem to have any focus in his show, will it be college sports or Minnesota, or politics, or what, he wastes too much time in between pushing his rinoism.

Cruz is spot on correct about it all
Funny thing is, by the time he came in I had to be doing some things. So I missed his introduction and only heard parts of it.
My iHeart radio kept kicking me off. Maybe it’s accessible on Hewitt’s website. What I did hear was what Cruz has been saying whenever I hear him speak, and that is both parties are ignoring the American people.
