Erickson’s right. Not many are calling.

Call, write, email, contact....

If we don’t, then we can’t really complain

Just shut up. Stop complaining.

He would like to, but he doesn't get to make those rules for other people.

The People spoke pretty loundly in November. They are supposed to represent us. Perhaps they can do it without their hands being held the whole way? Or maybe we elected the wrong people?

Hey we should post this about every 6 hours around here.

And send it out to the Republican Underground activists to post it everywhere.

Wait, we don’t have anyone like that on our side.

I called my kids for dinner several times last night, at increasing levels of volume; when they finally decided to grace the dinner table with their presence and faced with my ticked off glare, they claimed I hadn’t called them.

Chances are pretty good something similar is happening here.

Calling our representatives (even those most likely to stand with us) provides them numbers with which to convince others of the public pressure on this issue.

From Senate Conservatives:

Also, please beware of show votes that are designed to allow politicians to pretend to oppose amnesty without actually stopping it. The only way to stop the president's amnesty is to include specific language in a must-pass spending bill that defunds it.

""several members of congress tell me that they’re barely hearing from anybody."""

They all say this, when it is something they actually want anyway or not interested in. I have made called on some issues, and been told in so many words that "we're not getting any calls on this, your the first, I will let the Sen. or Rep. know, thank you for calling".

To be more specific, ask your Congressman to support or co-sponsor H.R.5759 - Executive Amnesty Prevention Act of 2014

Introduced in House (11/20/2014) by Rep. Ted Yolo (R-FL)

Executive Amnesty Prevention Act of 2014 - States that no provision of the Constitution, the Immigration and Nationality Act, or other federal law shall be interpreted or applied to authorize the executive branch of the government to exempt, by executive order, regulation, or any other means, categories of persons unlawfully present in the United States from removal under the immigration laws.

Declares any action by the executive branch with the purpose of circumventing the objectives of this statute null and void and without legal effect.

Makes this Act effective retroactively, applying to any such exemption made at any time.

Since Congress has nothing to do with this I thought the appropriate answer would be stop paying illegals to mow your lawn. Petition your HOA or City and demand they stop paying firms that use illegal labor on city projects. Call your State legislature and ask why they are allowing state projects (roads, etc) to go to firms using illegal labor.

“You did not call your congressman despite me making it very easy for you to do so. “

Any idiot that thinks calling counts is an idiot.

You can write 250,000 letters, make 2,500,000 phones calls, send 25,000,000 emails, but there will be a DC lobbyist taking your representative to lunch and paying them a $250,000 bribe (read: Campaign Contribution) to ignore you.

I fail to see what making a phone call will do, when the message from this particular Congress critter is that “We will only do the right thing if we hear from our constituents.” The fact that our elected representatives won’t consider voting against amnesty until they fear for their jobs is utter lunacy.

This fraud can shove it. After helping promote the very people that are responsible to reelection, methinks his cunning plan it to project too much. as in “He doth protest too much”.

“I’m in Washington, D.C. right now. Last night I had several members of congress tell me that they’re barely hearing from anybody.”

Yes, because most thinking people are aware that the RINO party is every bit as corrupt as the dims and that their goals are the same. The RINOs vote with the dims or vote to enhance the dims. They could have received 100 million calls and STILL would have voted with the dims. Those ‘several members of Congress’ lie, cheat, steal and kill to advance the totalitarian cause.

Washington needs to be burned down to the ground while all ‘officials’ are sitting comfortably in their offices.
