Senator Jeff Sessions (R., Ala.) suggested that House Republicans are on the verge of breaking their campaign promise to fight President Obamas administrative amnesty, judging by the legislative text currently being circulated.
Sessions said that the proposed language fails to meet [the] test established by Republican National Committee chairman Reince Priebus, who promised earlier this year that the GOP would do everything possible to thwart Obamas executive orders.
The executive amnesty language is substantially weaker than the language the House adopted this summer, and does not reject the central tenets of the Presidents plan: work permits, Social Security and Medicare to 5 million illegal immigrants reducing wages, jobs and benefits for Americans, Sessions said in the statement expressing his dissatisfaction with the results of a House Republican conference meeting today.

Polling shows voters believe that Americans should get preference for available jobs by almost a 101 margin, but...When do DAMN DEMOCRATS give a crap about what Americans want???

Politico is reporting that GOP Leaders will pitch a two-part plan:
1.a spending bill that will fund most of the government through Sept. 2015 with short-term funding for DHS
2.a bill introduced by Florida Rep. Ted Yoho that would prevent the executive branch from exempting categories of persons unlawfully present in the United States from removal under the immigration laws.
The short-term DHS bill will not defund Pres. Obamas executive amnesty.
The Yoho bill is nothing more than a shiny object meant to fool the Republican conference into doing nothing. There is no chance that Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid would bring the bill to the Senate floor for a vote, and even if he did, it wouldnt pass or be signed into law by Obama. The only way House Republicans can stop Obamas amnesty is to defund the action.
No. Not suprised at all.

which is exactly why there was little celbration of the republican victory. Because we knew the job was only half done.
The first half was beating a moronic incompetent president. That was easy.
The second half is actually doing something. Much harder.

Which is why I'm more angry at the GOPe for flat lying to us.Precisely. Not very nice being stabbed in the back by our supposed friends. I won't vote for another R for some time. At least not until they grow some balls. I'll vote for Cruz for President, so long as it ain't on a GOP ticket.

The CofC thanks all of you republican and conservative suckers for putting their lackeys in charge. Now they, along with their democrat brethern, have unlimited access to plenty of dirt cheap mexican laborers, and all of us were suckered into paying for them. At this rate, el presidente nieto of mexico will be the next POTUS, with maduro being a close second.
