Dear colleagues,
I think Oath Keepers, or something like it, is the key to our survival. We need to work in structured teams to protect our families and property in chaotic and lawless conditions.

What? The Nation Media isn’t all over this feel-good story of bravery and self-sacrifice? A white man PROTECTING a black woman from other blacks determined to destroy her business and livelihood?

Of course St. Louis County attempted to stop the Oath Keepers. Hell, one of them might possibly have hurt one of the sainted looters.
Besides, I suspect orders came down from ‘on high’ to not only go easy on the “Peaceful Protesters” but to take away the threat to them from evil white militia(s).
So they went for the low hanging fruit, the people that would obey lawful orders. Turns out the orders were not lawful, but that got them off the roofs before they possibly hurt one of the rioters er “Peaceful Protesters”.

They need to be there; the police under liberal supervision have to just stand there and watch as they “Burn The Bitch Down”.

Since theyve been back on the rooftops, Andrews said police havent tried to enforce the ordinance.
The ordinance is not being violated, so there is no need to enforce. Any other reading of it would subject owners of a business to having a background check in order to secure his own building.

Did the rioters in St. Louis Co. have valid permits to protest? Or are they exempt from the law?

ANARCHO-TYRANNY:
Some laws, the ones that oppress the mainstream and law-abiding folks, are enforced. You know, like the law about helping to protect a business from savage looters and arsonists.
HOWEVER, other laws like the ones against looting and burning down businesses, are not enforced.
This results in a totalitarian police state, and a FReeper pointed out yesterday that the Soviets did the exact same thing to keep the populace under control: the state used common criminals to terrorize the citizens.

Just put out cupcakes and punch and call them "party guests".
Besides that, Oathkeepers don't accept just anyone, they are pretty picky about who they associate with as members. I don't believe they are going to dig up any untrained members.

We’re regulating people who help to keep order in a time of riot and looting?

Yeah, the Oath Keepers should stand down just as soon as the Ferguson cops go ask the rioters for their “looting permit”.
