A New York City brewery is receiving some intense criticism for a beer slogan that patrons and others say is racist.
Heartland Brewery’s seasonal Bavarian Black Lager promises customers they will “be a slave to the flavor.”
Kirsten John Foy of Al Sharpton’s National Action Network called the slogan “absolutely inappropriate, offensive and intentionally provocative.”

The slogan is meant to be sexually suggestive — a dominatrix dominating a sex “slave.” So in that sense, I’m glad that this brewery is getting protests and crap for the slogan. But the fact that some black “leader” is connecting “black” lager and slave shows just how incredibly stupid the protestors are.
I want to be dominated by a black leather clad hottie with a whip in one hand and a bottle of ice cold lager on the other hand.
Yummm! Bring it on.
