It is a contradiction to think a right-wing extremist would attack churches.

Extreme right-wing views?

Yeah. You know. A Terrorist.

FTA...

"The one mistake he made was he came to the Austin police station and we were able to take him out pretty quickly," Acevedo said, describing McQuilliams, a convicted felon, as a "homegrown, American extremist" and "terrorist."

More useless sensationalism, just to get the "outcry," "omg" response. This smacks of the cheapest rag one sees at the checkout stand while waiting to buy my milk and butter.

Sigh. Haven't we anything better to see on our site?

...he was gunned down by police

The writer doesn't know what gun down means. It's perjorative, implying that the "victim" was innocent, that he was murdered by police.

Because he attacked a police station my first thought was suicide by cop.

Oh, I bet that Mr. Vertuno has no clue as to how he contradicted himself here.

Is this like the nutty liberal who flew a plane into the Austin IRS office?

“It’s a mad anti-government extremist LIKE we see on the right...”

Churches? I don’t think so. The guy was obviously leftist.

I’m going to go out on a limb here and guess that we will find out he was a registered Democrat.

How can his actions be called “terrorist” when the Boston bombing and the Fort Hood shooting were NOT ruled to be terrorism (no orders to attack from officially recognized terrorist groups WITH said groups taking credit for the attacks)?

Lone-nut action.

Also in the van was a copy of "Vigilantes of Christendom," a 1990 book associated with the Christian Identity movement known as the Phineas Priesthood, which espouses anti-Semitic and racist views. Inside the book was a handwritten note that referred to McQuilliams as a "priest in the fight against anti-God people," Acevedo said.

Haven't the libs in Austin heard that neo-cons LOVE Israel?

How does this make the man a "right-winger"? Klansmen (like David Duke) are Democrats (or Independents).

Based upon his specific action (he didn’t shoot at any people), the deceased shooter IMHO was soliciting “suicide by cop”. And it was a successful solicitation.

Investigators said McQuilliams left no note describing a specific motive, why he picked his targets or why he launched his attack when he did. Written in marker on his chest were the words, "Let me die," Acevedo said.

Sounds like suicide by cop to me.

And I don't recall if the Tampa Teen suicide pilot's suicide note (with it's support for Islamic terrorism and Bin Laden in specific) was even mentioned at the time of his death (I know it was not made public for several months) all while the media tried to portray Charles Bishop/Bishra as a "young conservative".

Has ABCDisney News/AmericanPravda done a story on the gay rights group leader who is facing charges of being a pederast?
