Conservative Leaders Gang Up to Block Jeb Bush, Say He Opposes Reaganism
The Washington Examiner ^ | December 1, 2014 | Paul Bedard

Posted on 12/01/2014 8:53:44 AM PST by JeepersFreepers

Conservative leaders who had a hand in key Republican victories including Ronald Reagan’s presidency, the Contract with America and the birth of the Tea Party, are ganging up to oppose a Jeb Bush presidential bid, declaring him easier to beat than Bob Dole or John McCain.

“Jeb is a very good moderate Democrat,” added top-rated talk radio host Mark Levin. “He's very boring. He doesn't elicit excitement and energy outside a very small circle of wealthy corporatists and GOP Beltway operatives. Time to move on.”

Nothing would be more depressing than a Bush-Clinton race in 2016. But they do not call the GOP the "stupid party" for nothing.

Jeb Bush is the kind of guy who makes George W Bush sound downright conservative.

I find his positions completely acceptable. He might be fine for a federal Cabinet post but not President.

Agreed. By stopping RINO’s, there are fewer of them, and one is more likely to coalesce as a nominee. Gang up to elect a conservative... that’s a singular conservative, in a field of many RINO’s.

The GOPe isn’t stupid, just power hungry, money hungry and corrupt like most everyone else in Washington. They are willing to be in second place as long as the government and graft keeps growing.

The Bush family controls a lot of money, private equity and banking through the Carlyle Group. They also have an inner network inside the Agency.

They are as tone-deaf as any politician can get with the exception of Barbara Bush who actually gets it. Their kids are idiots and borderline idiots.

Ok aside from all the deserved derision I am heaping on them, they have money which buys a seat at the table. Nothing can stop that because the Beltway whores that make their living from deep pockets will sing their praises for a fee. So Jeb Bush will launder family controlled money into his campaign war chest and then bow out when he buys a clue.

The only danger is those that sell him the clue may lie through their teeth in order to keep the gravy train going. We won’t know until late 2015 or early 2016 if Jeb Bush has any brain cells between his ears.

Yes. The RINOs have historically lined up behind a single candidate, and we haven’t. It’s much easier for them, because they can hash out their candidate among the top ten donors. It’s time we did the same thing among the top four talk show hosts.

Otherwise, bash Jeb all you want and encourage as many RINO candidates as possible.

Just the thought of that is nauseating.

Levin is right: Jeb is a moderate Democrat.

Lots of money, which makes them dangerous.

“I find his positions completely acceptable.”

I really prefer not to be enlightened on Jebbe the Nutt’s “positions”, not even if you have pictures.

My apologies, but that one was too good to pass up.

His actions regarding private property were made all too clear in the Jesse Hardy case. One of his kleptocratic bureaucratic Nommenklatura wanted to take his land, so they did.

Just politics and bureaucracy run amok, with a carefully coiffed and dressed Governor Jeb Bush presiding over the “meetings” - though the decisions were made and approved by Jeb much earlier.

Having met with him at length on the Everglades issues, I’ll say he is a very decent, rather likeable person, but as with the rest of the One World Nutters, Jeb would be as bad a President as he would be a good neighbor/friend.

Commitment to the Constitution is crucial for Americans and far more so for their elected officials.

I voted for Bushes before, but never again.

“The Bush family controls a lot of money, private equity and banking through the Carlyle Group.”

Read “House of Bush, House of Saud” and you find that the Carlyle Group, and thus the Bush family, has invested 1.476 billion dollars of Saudi money.

And now you know why Bush was photographed hand in hand with a Sand Savage.

America has always had the finest politicians money can buy, and the Saudi’s have lots of money.

Ah, SO! Now you know why Presidente Jorge Boosh said “Islam is a religion of peace.”
